In the year 1998 my mother told that a couple she knows had a son which was "doing something with the internet" in Spain. I searched the web and bumped into the calcaxy-homepage. I didn't have an idea what they were doing - nevertheless I wrote an email to Omi and introduced myself. I thought I had reason enough to do so since I realised we came from the same village (Hard in Vorarlberg). I went straight forward and asked if I could volunteer for one of their next projects - whenever they'd be in Austria.
Omi replied that he had never received an email by someone from Hard before and told me they were soon be going to install an exhibition in the O.K. in Linz. I showed up and they were surprised. We got along very well and had some good days with the construction and setup of their work. It was the "park for L.A.-project".
Before I left, Omi asked me if I wanted to spend some time as their assistant in Spain. I said yes. And here I am. It was one of the best decisions I ever made ...
